Paul Boris has driven digital transformation within industrial and field operations for decades. Starting as a co-op student at General Motors in the assembly division, he’s held P&L responsibility for facilities in virtually all manufacturing modes. Whether transforming a small 50-person investment casting shop as superintendent, crafting and executing SAP’s earliest efforts in the IIoT as a Global Vice President, or as the CIO of Advanced Manufacturing Strategy for GE or COO of Vuzix, Boris demonstrated the ability to simplify the complex technology landscape and adoption cycle, delivering results quickly.

With deep practical knowledge of Lean principles and Digital Transformation, he’s used this unique blend of skills to deliver the greatest impact in the shortest cycle. Industry X.0 requires leveraging a complex set of technologies and strategies. From Cloud and Edge Computing to Wearables and Augmented Reality (AR) to tools like Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Boris has focused on delivering differentiated solutions to manufacturing and field service operations, with an intense focus on creating sustainable and scalable value. He’s advised many of the world’s largest industrials, and small and mid-sized organization alike.

Boris is the CRO and a board member of Praemo, a technology company delivering AI for industrial operations. He also serves as a board member and advisor to startups in the advanced robotics, machine learning and the AI space. Paul is often asked to speak on the topics of IIoT, Industry X.0 trends and technologies, as well as digital transformation and organization leadership.
